The beginning of the year is a great time to evaluate your current projects and set some new goals.
However, do not fall into the trap that so many do.
I can’t stress how important it is to KEEP IT SIMPLE!
What do I mean by that?
I mean set yourself only a couple of goals at most, make them achievable and make them trackable.
You can start quite vaguely if you wish and once you have decided what you are going to achieve, break it down into the individual steps. It’s by working through these steps that you will complete your project.
For example, I have set myself two goals :
1 – Launch my new product I’ve been thinking about for months
2 – Start my content syndication business
You might think that’s not many aims for a whole year but once I have completed them, I can make new goals.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is setting too many goals at once and not completing any of them. They do a little on one, a little on another etc.
Which leads nicely to the next important point : DON’T GET DISTRACTED!
Everything you do should be focused on achieving your goals…one at a time.
This is such a great time of the year as everything is possible. Set yourself a couple of goals and start work on one of them.
Nothing beats the joy of completing a goal.
